Ashtabula Family Health Center’s family medicine providers offer comprehensive, personal health care – from routine checkups and preventive health, to diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries. Non Surgical Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine

Our orthopaedic and sports medicine specialists provides diagnosis and treatment options for painful orthopaedic injuries such as arthritis, cartilage, ligament, and tendon injuries, fractures and sprains, joint deterioration, osteoporosis, and trauma. Non-surgical treatment options include physical therapy, medication, lifestyle changes, coricosteriods, or immobilization and rest of the injured area of the body.

ACMC Express Care

If you or a loved one aged two years or up have a minor illness or injury, save time and money with ACMC Express Care. Visit Express Care for:

  • Cold and flu symptoms.
  • Conjunctivitis.
  • Minor back pain (without history of trauma).
  • Minor bumps and cuts.
  • Seasonal allergies.
  • Skin rashes.
  • Simple sprains and strains.
  • Infections of the sinus, upper respiratory or urinary tract.
  • Ear, nose and throat.
  • Shoulder pain (without history of trauma).
  • Insect bites.
  • Cellulitis.
  • Influenza.
  • Styes.
  • Ringworm, shingles and impetigo.
  • Cold sores.

A visit to Express Care costs less than a visit to an urgent care facility or the Emergency Department. Co-pays will be similar to a physician office visit. Express Care is a walk-in service for patients aged two and older. You do not have to be a patient of ACMC or Ashtabula Family Health Center to use Express Care. Hours at the Ashtabula location are Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Diagnostic Imaging

Digital X-ray: A non-invasive procedure which creates a digital image of the inside of the body. To schedule an appointment, call 440.997.6686. ACMC also offers digital x-ray in Conneaut and Jefferson. 3D mammography is also available in Conneaut. Click here for locations and hours. Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Ultrasound can be used to examine the abdomen, pelvis, breast, prostate and testicles, as well as for pregnancy. To schedule an appointment, call 440.997.6686.

Lab Services

The ACMC Laboratory provides accurate, timely, convenient, and affordable testing and blood collection services to physician offices and patients. Stop in Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
