ACMC and Ashtabula City Health Department to offer Community Vaccine Clinic

Ashtabula County Medical Center and the Ashtabula City Health Department are joining forces to offer a large COVID-19 vaccine clinic for the community.
“At this time, we anticipate having the two-dose Moderna vaccine,” said Christine Hill, Health Commissioner for the Ashtabula City Health Department. “The first dose will be given on Saturday, April 17th and the second dose will be on Saturday, May 15th.”
The vaccine clinic will be held in the ACMC Health and Wellness Plaza on Lake Avenue on Lake Avenue, in the space to the right of Premiere Fitness. There is signage in the windows to identify the vaccine clinic.
“By coming together, we will be able to provide 600 vaccines to the community,” said Emily Brown, DNP, medical branch director of ACMC’s COVID-19 response team. “We appreciate the opportunity to work side-by-side with the Ashtabula City Health Department. This collaboration will greatly expand the number of our friends and neighbors who can be vaccinated those days.”
Because the Moderna vaccine is approved for individuals 18 and older, the clinic will only be able to vaccinate those who meet that age criteria.
