ACMC Healthcare System's commitment to providing great medical care right here in Ashtabula County includes periodic assessments of community health. The Community Health Needs Assessments are data-driven studies of the health status, behaviors, and health needs of residents within our service area. The assessments provide ACMC and local community leaders a benchmark of community health needs and a mechanism to show improvement or decline in community health. In addition to the Community Health Needs Assessments, ACMC also issues an implementation strategy, which shows how ACMC will work to improve the health issues that fall within its current service ability. ACMC follows the timeline set by the Affordable Care Act, for issuance of all reports. In years where only one report appears, the subsequent report is under development.
